Position Title: Clinical Dental Director
Position Duties Summary:
- Deliver comprehensive dental care, build strong patient relationships through communication and education, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance with clinical standards.
- Oversee clinical quality by ensuring consistent standards, conducting case reviews and chart audits, and leading the adoption of protocols, technologies, and advanced procedures.
- Mentor and train clinical staff by providing guidance on treatment planning and complex cases and overseeing onboarding and ongoing education for new and current providers.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control standards, state dental regulations, and manage licensure, continuing education, and documentation requirements for clinical staff.
- Collaborate with leadership to align clinical outcomes with business goals, support hiring and office expansion across multiple office clinic locations, and drive innovation through technology, training, and patient experience improvements.
Position Requirements:
- Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from a U.S. university-based dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
- Experience: At least three (3) years of progressive dental clinical experience that includes: proficiency in general dentistry procedures, including restorative, prosthodontic, preventive care, and advanced procedures (including implant placement, endodontic procedures, and clear aligner treatment); experience utilizing dental charting, digital imaging, and dental practice management software; experience overseeing clinical quality through case reviews, chart audits, and implementation of clinical protocols and technologies; knowledge and application of infection control procedures, OSHA regulations, and HIPAA compliance.
- Must have clinical leadership experience including mentoring, supervising, and training dentists, hygienists, and clinical staff within multi-office dental operations.
- Experience collaborating with executive leadership to align clinical care standards with business goals and supporting operational growth across multiple locations.
- Licensure: Active and unrestricted dental license in the state of employment or eligibility to obtain one prior to employment start date.
Salary: $130,000/year. The employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage, as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor.
